Dan Larsen works with "paint in motion"--as he calls it--to express a feeling and mood to the viewer as they contemplate his work. Loose and fluid, Larsen takes abstract art to another level by letting the paint and its unique reaction to its counterparts define some of the process.

"Deliberately Organic", Larsen’s most recent creative foray continues to explore the creation of art from the subconscious level, and it’s intersection with elements found in nature. There are many layers and nuances to be appreciated. The multiple applications of paint and the manipulation of the medium creates an interesting and contemplative canvas resulting in close up views as interesting as those viewed from a distance.

The myriad of shapes and colors interacting together stimulates the viewer's imagination to wander a unique visual path. The beginning, the end and the space in between allow the viewer to see process and formation and create their own unique experience with the art...culminating in a sense of WOW!
